_Masami Ueda was one of three composers for the original Resident Evil. Co-composers Makoto Tomozawa and Akira Kaida did not return to the series. Ueda further worked with the Resident Evil 2 team and later Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, which he worked on alongside BIOHAZARD 4, a PlayStation 2 game which was cancelled and turned into Devil May Cry.
