In this profile, Madeline Gannon shares her work taming giant, industrial robots into collaborative companions. She demonstrates custom gesture-based software she developed in order to communicate with her big, orange robot, ABBA. Using a wearable device and motion-capture system, Gannon shows how new ways of using old technology might rewrite how humans and automation co-exist.
