Ngo interview: Hungary defends the banning of transitioning children

Budapest—On Oct. 25, 2022, Andy Ngo interviewed Balazs Orban, the political director of Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban (they are not related) and MP in the nationalist-conservative Fidesz Party. Hungary is being taken to court by the European Commission after it passed the Children Protection Act in June 2021 which banned “LGBT propaganda“ for minors. Hungary had already banned gender transitioning services for minors but the act further bans what LGBT content can be taught in schools or shown to children.
