Boris LeLong and I started collaborating over a year ago. His albums are very much in the “organic ambient“ style and the cover designs reflect it. His style naturally fitted my collection of natural (and pseudo-natural) still, moving paintings in the StillMovingArt project. We thought of screensavers (really!) and other formats, for which Boris made a set of short variations on a theme. Boris has now extended and deepened the music, adding some new, subterranean elements of “continuo“ in the bass range and more use of the minor keys. There's more “narrative“ over the movements and a greater spaciousness. More movements to come.... I hope you enjoy this and it encourages you to explore Boris LeLong's music.
