The proliferation of IoT devices and migration of Operation Technologies to the cloud is a stable trend. However, the rapid growth of IoT has also introduced new cybersecurity challenges. To ensure a robust IoT ecosystem, organizations must know how to develop incident response strategies specifically tailored to address IoT-and OT-related threats. During the session, we will discuss the complexities of IoT cloud environments, and unique challenges presented by multi-cloud. We will examine common attack vectors targeting IoT devices in the cloud, such as infrastructure and IAM misconfigurations. Real-world case studies will be presented to illustrate the viable tactics of IoT incident response and provide best practices for creating a proactive and well-defined incident response plan. Furthermore, the session will address the importance of collaboration and information sharing among stakeholders, including cloud service providers, and incident response teams. We will explore best practices for incident detection, and discuss incident containment strategies, including device isolation, network segmentation, and access control measures.
