‘Carnival Magic’, the world’s first and only Thai Carnival theme park, operated by ‘Carnival Magic Co., Ltd.’, an affiliate of Phuket FantaSea, located at Kamala Beach, Phuket Province, covering an area of over 40 acres (100 Rai) and with an investment budget of THB 5 billion (USD$ 160 million), was originally developed in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Phuket FantaSea’. ‘Carnival Magic’ contains 4 main zones: Zone 1 – a shopping street named ‘Carnival Fun Fair’, Zone 2 – Birds of Paradise buffet restaurant Zone 3 – a state-of-the-art theater named ‘River Palace’ housing a gigantic parade show performance known as ’River Carnival’ Zone 4 – a light sculptured city called ‘Kingdom of Lights’. ‘Carnival Magic’ project will be officially opened in early 2020.
