We are thrilled to introduce the most exciting feature of the 8.2 VSDC update: proxy file support. With proxy support, you can now create lightweight proxy copies of your high-resolution videos, including up to 8K resolution, to be used during the editing process. This means that all your effects and edits are applied to a more manageable file, preventing processor overload and software lag. However, when it's time to export your project, rest assured that the effects and edits seamlessly transfer to the original high-resolution video. This video continues a series on optimizing video editing performance to eliminate lags. If you're using version or an earlier release, watch the first video in this series. It focuses on enhancing video preview quality, and you can find the link to it here If you are using version or later, up to the latest release 8.2, we suggest watching the second video. This video specifically addresses video preview lagging, and you can find the link to it here Haven't upgraded to 8.2 yet?
