A review of the 1973 Kawasaki KH250, Yamaha RD250 and Suzuki GT250. In 1970s and 80s Britain, regulations allowed you to ride a 50cc moped at age 16 and then progress to a proper 250cc bike at age 17. If you had a 250cc moto at the time, chances are it was a Kawasaki KH250, Yamaha RD250 or Suzuki GT250. From three carb-fed cylinders screaming away to the full Barry Sheene experience, this is a review and comparison of three iconic Japanese bikes from the era.
