This was one of those commercials that sadly lost it’s way, due to to many voices at the top. But that’s normal life in the advertising world. I have no complaints as It’s nice to be asked to work on a such a premium brand in the first place. So decided to create a Directors Cut. I was bought in to reinvigorate a commercial that was created a year earlier. I shot about 85% of this film, with some images coming from the Dubai Tourism archives and also from the fantastic people @Dubia Film and X Dubai. As I Director / DOP I wish i could have shot the last 15% , but knowing that Film Dubai had contributed some amazing material it was silly for me not to use it. Enjoy.
