Sopraggiunge Bastien che saluta Colas e viene poco dopo scacciato da Bastienne. Bastien chiede aiuto a Colas per riconquistare Bastienne e il mago lo rassicura con una cerimonia magica (Diggi, Daggi). Ad interpretare la parte di Colas il M° Mauro Ivano Benaglia che intona l'aria un'ottava sotto di quanto scritto per rendere ancora più suggestiva la parte e forse anche unica esecuzione reperibile. ************************* Bastien arrives and greets Colas and is shortly afterwards chased away by Bastienne. Bastien asks Colas for help to win Bastienne back and the magician reassures him with a magical ceremony (Diggi, Daggi). Maestro Benaglia plays the part of Colas and sings the aria an octave lower than what was written to make the part even more evocative and perhaps also the only performance available.
