Clothing from Yamamoto is often closed, loose-fitting, as opposed to the tightly-naked “canon” of modern fashion. The designer’s clothes were compared with the clothes of a peasant, nomad or beggar. This is facilitated by both free cut and rough fabrics without ornaments. Yamamoto's favorite color is black.
