Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) is an open source project by Steve Atkinson and offers “tone capturing“ accuracy even better than IK Multimedias latest greatest release, ToneX! In this video, I talk a bit about why this is the case and also demonstrate this by comparing both a NAM and a ToneX capture against my real deal Bugera 6262, boosted by an MXR M77! NOTE: I already had this video uploaded yesterday, but I had a crucial mistake in my methodology in doing the Null-test, as I have not set up any latency compensation whatsoever.
