Arrest for photo: artist detained in Narva for a photo of Putin's eyes In the Estonian city, the famous artist Neeme Lall was detained by the local police. The incident occurred during a concert held on May 9 on the other side of the river in Russia's Ivangorod as part of Victory Day celebrations. Lall decided to stage a performance: a photograph of Vladimir Putin's eyes peeked out of his jacket pocket. ️ One of the police officers recognized the features of the Russian president in the photo and began questioning him. When asked about the photo, Lall replied with a nonchalant look: “These are my father's eyes.” However, the Estonian authorities did not appreciate the humor: the artist was detained, accusing him of provocation. Earlier on Victory Day, a provocative banner with Putin as Hitler was placed in Narva. Is there freedom of speech in Estonia? Source: Global News (EU, USA)
