“Child of God.” I received this hymn for my late husband Warren, following a serious accident he had involving his right hand, in 2016. I don’t share it publicly that often, but felt called to share it this year, around the anniversary of Warren's passing, in memory of this beautiful human and the precious time we had together. **Please Note: This hymn cannot be “sold,“ used to advertise something or to make money. It is a hymn to sing for the wellness of your heart, home and community only. Please use this hymn respectfully and with credit. ** I have sung this hymn in ceremony, as a lullaby for our children, by Warren’s bedside when he was struggling, as a unifying point in our relationship, and then at Warren’s wake, burial and memorial. My children request that we sing this song when they want to remember him, together with me or as a family. Whenever I sing this, I see Warren standing there with his right hand up, palm out, standing witness to the moment, beaming and singing with his whole heart. He loved this hymn so much. We are all precious children of God, children of Love, children of the One who created the beauty of the world....
