After the TV portion had premiered back in 2020 and pretty much gone through the roof in terms of views since then, new techniques and recently aired archive material from the band lead me to try and piece as much of the original concert back together as possible. The 67 minutes of TV footage were mixed and extended (e.g. a verse in Wild In The Streets was not aired etc.) with the audio broadcasted from the band's archives recently. Vice versa, missing footage from the latter like Bad Medicine was incorporated from the TV broadcast. The video footage was firstly colour corrected and stabilized in Virtual Dub before having undergone some AI enhancing and then some further manual adjustments. Keep in mind that the only source for this show is from a VCD, so there are horrendous quality restrictions there. The first three songs (look up the old premiere if you want) were always and for reasons unknown only available in even further degraded quality and a ton of dropped frames lead to them being quite hard to sync. Same goes for the show's last minutes due to problems on the original VCD like missing frames. The footage from Bed Of Roses onwards worked better in that aspect. The audio (the recently aired stuff is around on other channels already) was reworked for more detail, “live space“ and clarity. If you compare it back to the source mentioned before, you'll surely notice that. Bad Medicine came from the VCD source and hence has more compression artifacts underlying the sound. The show itself was great and energetic and gives us the first properly documented night of the band's 1995 tour! I've said and posted it before, but this version of Never Say Goodbye in the final encore may be my all time favourite rendition of the song! Furthermore, this show might contain the single best second verse in Dry County! Jon's rasp and dedication are second to none! In addition, the rendition of Rockin' All Over The World might've not only been the live premiere, but also the best and most inspired one. Footage of Jon dancing through the dressing room with his guitar and rehearsing the song right before the show can be found on this channel (from around 9 years ago). Audio and video remastered!
