Single: The Nothing Released: August 16, 2019 Genre: Technical Deathcore Location: Pennsylvania Facebook: Instagram: Twitter: Bandcamp: Big Cartel: The long wait is over. Pennsylvania’s goliaths of despair “The Hopewell Furnace” return reducing everything to cinders with their brand new and highly anticipated single “The Nothing“ Lyrics: Behold the nothing cold as winter and black as night. A bottomless chasm torn asunder through the hearts of the damned. A nursery of sorrow borrowed into the minds of the nameless. It consumes and breaks everything. An emptiness so prominent becomes the distinction of ones existence. A punishment with no discrimination comparable to the snapping of bones and the tearing of flesh. Conceived in the lowest circle. It envelops and consumes all in its wake. The nothing begins to crush. Grinding bones into dust conform its victims to exhausts of misery. Conducting rape of tortured souls. Suspended on impaling poles. An oceanic mass of limbs in its wake. It twists and necromances and breaks again and again. Piercing wails through the silence of night. As the children cry and watch all their mothers glow on the spire. The nothing rolls on. Marionettes with twisted black strings by which they were drug from the depths. Splitting earth this abomination rises high through Smokey skies. Erasing the hopes of man eternal nightmare this is where dreams die. Insects black out the sky. And conceal the puppet master behind. These demonstrations of a gods failed promise. To save the souls of man. All order is erased. And the divine fall from the sky. Torched by the flames of the nothing. It rains ash, teeth, and fragments of organic matter which does not burn unto the hopeless below. Crushed into dust through a grinding typhoon of endless agony and apathy. The condemned are cast onto the banks of the river styx. Where the ferryman is overwhelmed by the hordes of the dead awaiting final passage to the underworld below. The final destination for all the souls of mankind a towering pile of ash and rock. Remnants of the Elysian Fields. The garden of eve is swallowed by the sun, and raised to the ground as a monument to the lord of cinder. Even through death torment is inescapable. The perpetual cycle of suffering and contempt rolls of to forever mock the faithful. The perpetual cycle of suffering and the malicious contempt rolls on. The pearly gates are unhinged and cast into the lakes of fire. As the seven trumpets of Gabrielle sustain a muffled ring. The father of man dethroned falls onto trembling knees to bare witness to the recrucifixion of the son of god as the banners of Judas are raised.
