President Macron launches session on climate change on the last day of theG7summit

World leaders attended a working session on the environment before the G7 comes to a close in Biarritz. Emmanuel Macron presented leaders and guests with a watch made out of polluting plastic retrieved from the ocean. The mass fires in the Amazon rainforest were expected to be high on the agenda – with PM Boris Johnson pledging £10million to help protect them.
