A sublime instrumental mix here, from Chapter The Verse, a collective from Manchester who were inspired by Soul, Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop, Rare Groove and House music, the very melting pot of styles which gave birth to the Acid Jazz and Jazzdance scene in the early 1990s. Chapter were Aniff Akinola and Colin Thorpe, and The Verse were vocalists Paulette Blake and Debbie Saunders. The original version of 'Stories' can be found on the band's second and final album, 'Renewed Testament'.
