Despite the fact that the B-29 was designed by Boeing, this film was presented by Bell Aircraft Corporation's Georgia Division. This is due to the fact that Bell built B-29 and Consolidated B-24 Liberators under license from other aircraft companies at a factory near Marietta, Georgia, just northwest of Atlanta. Online by mid-1943, the plant produced hundreds of aircraft. This black-and-white film includes detailed views of new and innovative production techniques, assembly line work, and the training and care of the vast workforce which was made up of men and women from all walks of life.
