Dark Ghost Mantis (Phyllocrania paradoxa): My little black dragon with the lightning bolt crest. Ghost mantises look a bit reptilian, and when viewed head-on their flattened, upright rump takes on the appearance of the flanged throat of a cobra. Coincidence or predator code for ’danger’?
