We use reported speech when we say the words of other people. Reported speech is also called indirect speech. 4 important rules to remember when forming the reported speech; 1- Use a reporting verb (said/told/asked). 2- Change the tense of the original words. 3- Change the pronouns (I/you/we/he). 4- Change the time expression (yesterday/the day before). *Be careful when changing statements, questions or orders.
