Tim Cope, on his 10,000km journey to ride by horse from Mongolia to Hungary on the 'Trail of Genghis Khan' travels into spring in Southern Kazakhstan. Spring is the season for camel shearing. Kazakhs use the wool for clothing and blankets. This is filmed in the Moinkum desert, at the base of the Karatau mountains. The Six-part documentary series for ABC2 Australia airs July 28, 8pm 2010.
