Get a copy: This is the 2nd mix of “Rhythm Of Life“ (1990) project that was later remixed by Tony Humphries focusing on the background vocals of La India, Debbe , and Connie Harvey (1992). That remix went on to be the classic version that most House music aficionados are familiar with. This is the original vocal project that the remix was based on with it's Ragga and philosophical, inspirational message. Stylistically, it was the follow up to the underground hit, “Can't Take It“ (Capitol Rec) from a year before, which coined the phrase “Ragga-House“. That release was riding off of the wave from his House hit/ now classic, “Break 4 Love“. The song was released on Thompson's Level 10 Music Works (distributed by Emotive Records) in 1992. Then licensed to Synthetic Rec of the UK in 1993. Nine years later it was licensed to Underground Solutions (Germany) and released in 2 parts with multiple remixes in 2002. Then finally refreshed by Soulfuric records with stellar remixes by UBP and Jazz N Groove that same year. “It was more than about a rhythm but the ups and downs of life and handling the ride,“ Keith notes. “These are version most people don't know because the original remix became a classic underground fav. My ego didn't mind which version hit; either way it moved people and it was mine regardless.“ **Check the 1st mix from that session: Artist: Keith Thompson Produced by Tuta Aquino Writer: Keith Thompson Composer: Tuta Aquino Publishers: Jamlure International (BMI)/ Tuta Tunes (ASCAP) Keys: Alex D'Souza Drums programming: Tuta Aquino (c) 1990 Jamlure International, All Rights Reserved.
