Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany defended President Donald Trump's recent tweets and retweets relating to a conspiracy theory involving TV host Joe Scarborough and a former aide who died at his office during Scarborough's time in Congress. The body of Lori Kaye Klausutis, 28, was found in Scarborough's Fort Walton Beach, Florida, congressional office on July 20, 2001. Trump has long feuded with Scarborough, now a host of MSNBC's “Morning Joe“ show, and has repeatedly tried to implicate him in the death. Police did not press any charges against Scarborough over the death. Klausutis' widow T.J. sent a letter last week to Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey requesting they remove the tweets by Trump, however the social media company reportedly said Tuesday afternoon it would not be taking the tweets down.
