Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge Leviticus 19:18 (New International Version) “‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord. As we study the Old Testament with its laws decrees and statutes we see in the old Covenant a number of requirements that are no longer applicable to us today mainly sacrifices that had to be made for sins the blood of bulls goats pigeons and such. But we see many aspects of the old Covenant law that are still applicable to us today. God's desire for you and I in the New Covenant not to hold grudges not to seek revenge these truths are still with us as we are now led by the Spirit of God my prayer for each of us may we be able to discern and sensitive enough to the Spirit of God to know what aspects of the old Covenant are no longer applicable and which ones are still in effect.
