Chillán is the capital of the Ñuble province; It is located between the coast mountain range and the Andes mountain range, 400 kilometers south of Santiago. Chillán is known for its proximity to the Chillán Hot Springs and its ski centers, which are considered one of the most important in Chile. “Los Nevados de Chillán“ is a Chilean volcanic complex composed of eighteen volcanoes including the Chillán Volcano being active, which we can see in this video with its “fumarolas“.
