Tough end for the Lakers.. Wanted to really convey my emotions, and I'm sure many others.. To me, a wasted year because Bynum was healthy in the playoffs, and it was the last time for Kobe, and Phil, to ever 3-peat. Unfortunate that Pau Gasol had to disappear this year for the Lakers. That is where the blame is, Gasol. Overall though, this Lakers team was beat up, tired, and older. And after going to 3 straight finals already, it takes its toll.. Kobe can only last so long, and do so much after that kind of run, and injuries on his body.. This coming off-season will no doubt be interesting. One good thing is, Kobe will have the biggest rest he's ever had between seasons. Let's see how he comes back with this record setting time off. Thanks Phil Jackson, for everything.. But, time to bring in fresh blood, this is also a good thing at this point. I believe the Lakers will be back in the WCF at the very least next year.
