In this FL Studio beginner tutorial, I will show you how to make a standard white noise sweep effect. White noise sweeps are one of the most used sound effects in electronic music today. They will typically sweep up towards a transition, and then sweep down after it to make transitions smoother and more effective. Both are really easy to make, and in this tutorial, I will show you how to make both white noise up sweeps and down sweeps. So why do you need white noise sweeps in your music? Music producers will typically use white noise sweeps to add more atmosphere and ambiance in their mix. It’s a great way to fill space in the mix, and add more movement and variation. White noise sweeps are typically just sitting subtly in the background, and are primarily used to help with transitions. However, they can also be used to make a buildup more effective by adding more tension as it builds up. There are many ways to make your white noise sweeps more interesting, by adding some chorus, sidechaining and such, but in this video, I’m just going to focus on how to make a simple and basic white noise effect. I will make another more advanced tutorial on how to make different kinds of white noise sweeps later. I’m using FL Studio 21 in this tutorial but the same basic techniques can be used in other daws as well, and older versions of FL Studio too. ---------------------------------------------- RECOMMENDED STUDIO GEAR: (Amazon links below) AUDIO INTERFACE: ☑️ Focusrite Scarlett Solo: ☑️ Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 (3rd Gen): REFERENCE HEADPHONES: ☑️ AKG 612 PRO: ☑️ Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO: BUDGET MONITORS: ☑️ 5“: Yamaha HS5: ☑️ 7“: ADAM Audio: ☑️ 8“: Yamaha HS8: PROFESSIONAL MONITORS: ☑️ 7“: ADAM Audio A7V: SUBWOOFER: ☑️ KRK 10S2 V2: MICROPHONE: ☑️ Audio-Technica Cardioid Condenser Studio XLR Microphone: ☑️ Vocal recording booth/stand for microphone: XLR CABLES: ☑️ TISINO 35 ft Balanced XLR cable for mic: ☑️ Monoprice 6 ft Balanced XLR Cable for monitors: SHORTCUT KEYBOARD: ☑️ Backlit FL Studio Shortcut Keyboard: ☑️Get The Complete Idiot's Guide To Music Theory Here: PROFESSIONAL ACOUSTIC TREATMENT: ☑️ GIK Acoustic panels: As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. ---------------------------------------------- ✔️ VST & Effect Plugins: ✔️ Premium Loops And Sample Packs: ---------------------------------------------- 00:00 Introduction 00:08 How to make white noise in FL Studio 00:18 How to make white noise in sylenth1 00:32 How to make a white noise sweep effect in FL Studio 02:33 How to add samples to the browser in FL Studio 21 #firewalkmusic #flstudio #musicproduction ❤️ Support this channel on Patreon: ❤️ Support us with a one-time PayPal donation: 🎹 Do you need professional feedback on your music?
