Featured on: Permaculture expert Starhawk takes us on a tour to Connie Van Dyke's inner city permaculture garden in Portland, Oregon. The garden was grown as a means to provide food for the home and for the community by reducing the need to travel to get fresh organic produce. Look for paw paw trees, black eyed susan's, seaberry's, chestnut trees, apples, passionflower, jasmine, bamboo, rabbits, mason bees, bird houses, and composting. She has an internship that comes through and learns about permaculture while living in her basement. Enjoy the tour of this very interesting permaculture city garden!
