Diamond Fellowship Grantat Steinway Hall; won three awards for best music at Festival International Musique et Cinéma– Auxerre – France; has been nominated for Canadian Academy Award (Genie) for best soundtrack. Borislav Strulev was nominated for the Annual Russian National Music Award “Victoria” 2017 and 2018 as Instrumentalist of the Year in Classical Music. Borislav had his debut at Carnegie Hall - played Chopin Sonata with legendary pianist Byron Janis and also was a special guest at the Oscar Peterson Gala at Carnegie Hall among Jazz Legends as: Clark Terry, Roger Kellaway, Hank Jones, Billy Taylor,  Marian McPartland, Christian McBride, Lewis Nash, Russell Malone, Wynton Marsalis, Paquito D’Rivera, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Freddie Cole, etc. Mr. Strulev had the honor of carrying the Olympic Torch for The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. He was a nominee for The “Russian-American Person of the Year” 2014 Award in New York. In 2016 within “BelgorodMusicFest“ Borislav Strulev became the champion of Russia (Russian Ginness) having played a concert in the «KMAruda» mine shaft for miners at a depth of 340 meters in memory of the died miners. Mr. Strulev was a special guest along with Lynn Harrell to play for the 90th anniversary of Maestro Mstislav Rostropovich at the Kennedy Center, Washington. Mr. Strulev is special guest on significant crossover recordings produced by Ettore Stratta with jazz violinist Regina Carter on “Paganini: after a dream” (Verve – Universal), with celebrated mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves and Brazilian jazz pianist Eliane Elias on “Lost Days” (RCA – Red Seal) with singer and actress Arielle Dombasle on “Extase” (SONY). He recorded for iconic Russian label - (Melodiya) as in USA for (Naxos).
