Hyperextension of knee is very difficult problem in cerebral palsy. it should be recognized & managed at earliest and managed so that uncorrectible problem can be resolved. it occur because of many factors which include Equinus contracture, hamstring over-lengthening, weakness of hamstring, contracture of rectus femoris. in early age it can be beautifully managed by therapy, botulinum toxin, brace and in latter age require surgery. visit to for more info
