Night Lords Armor Speed painting Guide

This video is a quick overview how i paint Chaos Space Marine (Horus Heresy) Night Lords Armor. The Base paint job i show in this tutorial needs around 2h. For the whole mini including weathering spot highlights and basing i needed 4h 25m. 1. Prime the mini Black 2. Base coat the mini by stippling with a Artis Opus - Series D size M brush a mix 1:1:2 of Citadel - Abaddon Black, Vallejo - Royal Blue and Water 3. Add volumetric highlights by stippling with a Artis Opus - Series D (Size M) brush a mix 1:2 of Vallejo - Royal Blue and Water 4. Add even smaller volumetric highlights by stippling with a Artis Opus - Series D (Size S) brush a mix 1:2 of Citadel - Teclis Blue and Water 5. Start adding flashes with a base layer of Citadel - Teclis Blue 6. Intense the flashes by smaller lines with Vallejo - Deep Sky Blue 7. Intense the flashes on the connection points with P3 - Morrow White 8. Base coat the metal parts with Vallejo - Dark Aluminium 9. Base coat all black parts like the Weapon an Subsuite with Citadel - Abaddon Black 10. Base the lower helmet with Citadel - Ushabti Bone 11. Overcoat all parts with a mix of 1:2:1 Citadel - Darkoath Flesh Contrast, Citadel - Contrast Medium and Water 12. Paint glowing eyes and all the details you want! 13 OPTIONAL - Intense the blue armor with edge highlights of Royal Blue and Water and afterwards add smaller highlights with Citadel - Teclis Blue 13.
