I modified Bentley House Mini's 1:12 scale fireplace room box by making it even taller with a larger floor. I was all too happy to buy the tapestry fabrics I need. I'm not patient when it comes to learning new techniques that involve technology, but I will learn to use my printer to make fabric at some point. Some of my favorite things: Miter Shears- these are the clippers I use to cut pieces of wood and toothpicks etc Oyu Pla/Oyumaru reusable mold putty Cheaper clear mold putty I haven't tried 2 oz bottle of Diamond Glaze 8 oz bottle of Diamond Glaze Heat gun- I use mine to quickly dry paint, soften the glue to dismantle furniture and quickly cure polymer clay without an oven. Gets a lot hotter than a hair dryer.
