Anna & Vronsky - Forever (Anna Karenina, 1935)

A tribute to the 1935 film version of Tolstoy's classic novel. I'm in the process of reading the book, and I'm in love with the film and Garbo's amazing performance. The story is just great and while I don't think March is a brilliant or handsome enough Vronsky, it is a terrific tragic love story. This video isn't exactly how I'd want it, but I'm content. I misheard a few of the lyrics when I first made it, and now it sometimes doesn't make sense- I prefer to view it as a half flashback, or that Anna knew it was doomed all along and risked everything anyway. * * I own nothing! * * Song is 'Forever' by Siouxsie and the Banshees
