Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material. A short trailer film encouraging people to use their electricity carefully. Several shots of a mystic in eastern dress and turban (played by Terry-Thomas) telling a future to woman by looking into crystal ball. He sees her house lit with candles instead of electric light and heated with real fire instead of electricity. The two have an argument. Woman says that it is not her house he is looking at since she has electricity but he argues that what he sees happens in the future. He turns to screen and urges people not to use too much electricity at home during peak hours. End title reads “Use your electricity by the clock. The worst danger hours for cuts are between 8 and 10 a.m.“ Possibly connected with 48/95 - MD. Possibly in tin marked UNSO 43. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
