No title. This version contains some material missing from “The Evolution of the Film“ parts 1 & 2 plus some additional material. Intertitle introduces a photograph of William Friese-Greene. This is followed by a “Kinora“ seen being operated. C/Us of the Kinora as the pictures are flipped using a small handle. We are shown one of Thomas Edison's 1893 films “The Forge“ - men at work at a Blackmith's shop. Intertitle points out the slow motion of the film. Part of the Lumiere brothers' “Train Arrival“ film is shown. A Lumiere camera / printer / projector is demonstrated. The earliest known “Bill“ and programme for the Cinematographe are shown. Professor Trewey's plate-spinning film is shown. Lumiere's “baby“ film is promised but not shown.
