The melody in the beginning of the Doctor Who episode “The Girl in the Fireplace“. I love the new Doctor Who soundtrack by Murray Gold. I converted a midi file into sheet music, transposed it and then recorded about 8 different melodies I played with my bassoon. The ticking noise is from the metronom I used to keep myself in line There are 4 versions in this video: the normal version, one played 5 semitones higher, one played semitones higher and finally one played 8 semitones higher.
