🪧Hundreds of Kashmiris rally against the US and Israel over operation in Gaza 🇵🇸 The demonstration was held in Central Kashmir’s Budgam and was attended by hundreds of Shia Muslims, who raised slogans condemning Israel for its operation in Gaza city and the United States for its support of Israel. ◾️People in Kashmir region have traditionally supported the Palestinian cause: protests, including violent ones, have been held in the past in support of Palestine. Mirwaiz Molvi Umer Farooq, the chief cleric of the historic Jamia Masjid, had offered its unwavering support to Palestinians previously, calling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict the result of the decisions taken by colonial masters that have caused massive suffering for the local people.
