My Speech Repository - how does it work

The European Commission interpreters – SCIC have launched Speech Repository 2.0, an e-learning tool designed to help further improve the quality of conference interpreter training. See: One of its aims is to raise the success rate in tests and recruitment competitions for qualified conference interpreters for the EU Institutions. The high failure rate at these tests appears to be due chiefly to - lack of training with native speakers, - lack of topical knowledge of
