The difference between MUST and HAVE TO in English with example sentences. We start by looking at the difference in meaning between: - I must write a letter to John ... and ... - I have to write a letter to John. We look at obligation and whether it is personal or external. We learn which to use when creating questions. We look at MUST in the difference tenses including the past tense and the future tense. As a bonus, we compare HAVE TO vs. HAVE GOT TO, including which to use with adverbs of frequency.
