Adjectives in English and their opposites This video contains a total of 64 adjectives divided into 32 images. For each image, there are two cartoons which both represent an adjective. They are opposites. Before the names of the adjectives appear on the screen, you will hear “What are these adjectives?“ which gives students a short time to think about what they could be. After three seconds, the name of the first adjective appears above the cartoon on the left, for example “happy“. Then you will hear .... The opposite of X (e.g. happy) is ... X (e.g. sad) and then the name of its opposite appears above the cartoon on the right. In the second part of the video I quickly repeat the names of 60 of the adjectives in two summary charts.
