IT'S MAHVEL BABY!! Finally we know what the rest of the song is! So excited to finally drop this video of “I Wanna Take You for a Ride“ aka the character select screen from Marvel vs Capcom 2. This track is based on the original 8 second loop that plays from that game, but expanded with additional music and lyrics as if it were a FULL SONG. I loved listening to the original loop so much that I couldn't help but imagine what it would be like if the iconic vocal loop would be if it were the chorus of a full length song, so I asked my dear friends from the band Lawrence to come in an help me co-compose the rest of the imaginary tune, and this is the incredible result! Clyde Lawrence, who wrote the lyrics, did an amazing job incorporating some great references to the MvC2 game and community itself!!
