New 2025 Ram 1500 with more powerful, more fuel-efficient Hurricane engine family unveiled In addition to the upcoming gas-powered Ram 1500, Ram will offer an all-electric 2025 Ram 1500 REV that arrives in the fourth quarter of 2024, with an all-new Ram 1500 Ramcharger featuring even more class-shattering range to follow. The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger features a 92 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack, paired with an on-board 130 kW generator, sending power to 250-kilowatt (kW) front and 238 kW rear electric drive modules (EDMs). Vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home bi-directional charging affords the Ram 1500 Ramcharger the flexibility to charge another Stellantis battery-electric vehicle or provide power back to the grid. The 2025 Ram 1500 offers customers three engine options, including the all-new Hurricane and Hurricane High Output (H/O) Straight-Six Turbo (SST) engines from the Stellantis Hurricane Twin-turbo family, the most powerful six cylinders in the segment, and the award-winning Pentastar V-6 eTorque. The all-new Hurricane engine is rated at 420 horsepower and 469 . of torque, while the High Output engine is rated at 540 horsepower and 521 . of torque.
