The first camera: The #camera obscura was the first camera known to history. Conceptual descriptions of the #cameraobscura can be found in Chinese texts dating back to 400 B.C. and in Aristotle's writings around 330 B.C. The Arab scholar Ibn Al-Haytham articulated the concept of a camera obscura around 1000 A.D. A camera obscura does not take pictures; instead, it focuses light through a lens (technically a small hole) and projects it onto a screen. #pinholecamera are similar to camera obscuras. These devices paved the way for everything from still #photography to movie cameras and projectors.
