A Visualization Of Coastline Change Using Drone Imagery from GeoNadir - (Tropical Cyclone Jasper)

Drone Imagery captured of Clifton Beach in North Queensland Australia both before and after Tropical Cyclone Jasper made landfall show detailed changes to the land. The images were downloaded from the GeoNadir image sharing platform and were processed with Agisoft Metashape into vertex colored 3D meshed models. Those models were subsequently rendered as virtual fly-throughs to visualize changes between the two dates. Precise registration of the imagery was achieved by aligning the raw drone imagery with the Structure from Motion Photogrammetry software which allows a precise detailed inspection of the changes to the ground.
