Anastassiya Petrova: Intuition

Anastassiya Petrova, a young pianist and composer from Kazakhstan and a participant in international jazz festivals in Italy, Bulgaria, and Russia, led the audience through her explorations of Kazakh culture, experimenting with styles and time signatures, as well as original music. This recital was dedicated to the magic that occurs while playing music, the process of improvisation lead by intuition, and the special connection between fellow musicians that lead to miracles in music.
