please like share and subscribe. How to beat at stiff arm opponent in judo. A few methods laid out here. Positional improvements, creating angles, and using sode. RvR or LvL (Ai Yotsu) 1. Cut the hand, wait for the hand to come back for the lapel and give a little resistance. Then go for sode tsurikomi goshi as he comes up. Stand at an angle and attack the far leg. 2. Go around, to force his arm to do a pec fly. Close the distance and attack ko uchi or other footsweeps. 3. Slip the wrist to the side and go up for sode. Use these three together to make them even more effective. Sometimes, if there is a threat of the sode, a stiff-arming opponent will release the stiff arm.
