A big friendship that has bound me with the male cat Simbi (1997-2008) was an inspiration to compose this piece. The piece symbolically describes Simbi’s entire life and our friendship. Wouldn’t Simbi has died on terminal heart illness in July 2008, exactly today it might have been his 19th birthday.
