Qui-Gon Jinn was a wise and well-respected Jedi Knight, but he did not always agree with the Jedi Council. After a mission to the planet Bri’n, Qui-Gon struggled with the Jedi’s role in the Republic. Instructed by Yoda to seek answers in the Force, he left Coruscant. With no destination in mind, he closed his eyes and trusted the Force to guide him. Arriving at a charted, but undeveloped planet, he found himself at a Dark Side monument, whose power was slowly corrupting the planet. Reaching out to the Living Force, Qui-Gon finds himself surrounded by growing, red vines, that become threatening forms. Defending himself with his lightsaber, he cuts down the beings. Suddenly, the vines vanish leaving behind the bodies of slain Jedi. From inside Qui-Gon the red vines emerge and consume him. Waking from the Force vision, Qui-Gon understood that balance could be achieved without conflict. And that violence would transform the Jedi into what they stood against. Returning to the tem
