Ride along for another grip vs drift autocross comparison in a 400HP, 6-speed manual Pontiac GTO at the July 2018 Capital Driving Club (CDC) autocross in Winchester, VA. The first run is a tidy, grip run. The second run is a foot-to-the-floor, make-smokey-burnouts-while-sideways run. Which one is faster? But more importantly, which style was more fun?! This was a unique driving experience, coming from low HP momentum cars to a high HP machine that requires patience and throttle control.
